Meeting Logistics

Here is the logistical information for the Winter 2023 CSG Workshops and Meeting, to be held January 25-27, 2023 at Florida State University.

You will need to register separately for rooms at the conference hotel as well as for the meeting, and to make your own travel arrangements as explained below.

Conference Hotel:

Our conference hotel is the Residence Inn Tallahassee Universities at the Capitol, 600 W Gaines St. You may make your reservation by visiting the link or calling the number mentioned in the initial meeting notice. Our group rate is $159, plus tax, per night. Self parking is available at the Graduate Minneapolis for $20 plus tax per day, limited to one vehicle per suite. The cut-off date for hotel reservations is Tuesday, December 27, 2022.

Meeting Venue:

Our meeting will be held in Room 103 of the Turnbull Florida State Conference Center, 555 W Pensacola St.

Meeting Registration:

Please visit the meeting registration link mentioned in the initial meeting notice to register for the meeting and make your entree selections for the group dinners. Our registration system will send you a confirmation email. You can also confirm your attendance by viewing our meeting attendance list, but please note this list is manually updated. The cut-off date for meeting registration is Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

Nearest Airports:

The Tallahassee area is served by Tallahassee International Airport, about six miles southwest of the conference hotel.

Conference Meals and Transportation:

Full breakfast/brunch and break services will be provided for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Group lunches and dinners will be provided on Wednesday and Thursday. Transportation will be provided between the meeting site, campus tour location, and the group dinners as necessary; please see the meeting agenda for details. Box lunches will be provided at the close of the CSG meeting on Friday.
