Addendum B: Short Workshop:  Embracing the Remote Workforce
Detailed Agenda

Sylvie Cosgrove, Kemal Badur
Scott Midkiff, Phoebe Johnson, Kevin Morooney, Brian DeMeulle, Tom Lewis

How has COVID-19 changed your institution's attitude towards remote work? As you are working through the crisis, have you found unexpected benefits from remote work? How are you supporting your team's work/life balance in this difficult time? How did you change the ways you work to adjust to this new reality?

Addendum C: Short Workshop:  (Common?) Technology, tools, and strategies in aid of campus reopening
Detailed Agenda

As our organizations work flat out to help our campuses reopen to the greatest extent possible, we are engaging common problems in areas such as

We will have four quick (10 min) vignettes to describe some efforts in these areas, with an hour then devoted to group discussion.  We are eager to identify any Common Solutions in this space; things some of us can borrow from others, things subsets of us might want to work on together - let's not all reinvent six different-sized wheels.

Addendum D: Short Workshop:  Academic/classroom/online uses and other apps
Detailed Agenda

What does it mean from an academic technology perspective to lift and shift residential courses to remote learning in an ultra-compressed time frame?  This group of CIOs and academic technology leaders will discuss how the groundwork for this transition had been laid from the perspective of technology, faculty development, and instructional design support.  We will address the things that were surprisingly easy, those things that were harder than expected, and the a-ha moments (or lessons learned) that will benefit future thinking about how IT continues to move beyond bits and bytes to the true strategic partnerships within the academic side of the house.  Additionally, we'll have a discussion about "What's Next" -- what are you planning for the fall in support of the new and sometimes unknown norms.

Here is our agenda:

2:15 Welcome and Session Overview
2:20 Timeline of Move to Remote Learning
2:25 Panel Discussion: The Transition to Remote Learning: What we Learned Told Through Memes

Jennifer Sparrow, Maggie Jesse, Heath Tuttle, Matt Meyer, Lois Brooks

3:00 Break
3:10 Facilitated Discussion with Participants: What's Next: Preparing for an Uncertain Fall Semester

Carrie Shumaker, Scott Kirner, Tracy Weber

3:50 session wrap-up space

Addendum E: Short Discussion:   Emergent Conditions,  Policies and Experiences CIO Panel
Detailed Agenda

This future-focused session will be a facilitated CIO Panel where we explore how the COVID-19 crisis may change our organizations, our institutions and our roles in IT.

Facilitators: Carrie Shumaker, Kitty Bridges, Sarah Christen, Bill Wrobleski

Participating CIOs: Carrie Shumaker (UMich), Jane Livingston (FSU), Rich Mendola (Emory), Steve Fleagle (Iowa)
