Meeting Logistics
Here is the logistical information for the Fall 2018 CSG Workshops
and Meeting, to be held 26-28 September, 2018 at the University of
Virginia.
As usual, you will need to register separately for rooms at the
conference hotel as well as for the meeting, and to make your own
travel arrangements as explained below.
Conference Hotel
Our conference hotel is the
Boar's Head
Inn. You may make your reservation by
visiting the link and supplying the group
code mentioned in the initial meeting notice to get our group rate
of $185, plus $15 resort fee, plus tax, per night. You may also call the hotel at
855-452-2295,
select option 3, and reference UVA Chief Information Officer and block code
499.
Self-parking at the Boar's Head is
covered by the resort fee. Please note your reservation cannot be cancelled less than seven days prior to the meeting without incurring one night's charges.
The cut-off date for hotel reservations is
Friday, August 10, 2018.
Meeting Venue:
Our meeting will be held in in the Ballroom of the
Boar's Head Inn.
Meeting Registration:
Please visit the meeting registration link mentioned in the the
initial meeting notice to register for the meeting and make your
entree selections for the group dinners. Our registration system
will send you a confirmation email. You can also confirm your
attendance by viewing our meeting attendance list, but please note this list is
manually updated. The cut-off date for meeting registration is
September 17.
Nearest Airports:
The nearest airports are Charlottesville-Albemarle (Delta and
American Airlines only) and Richmond International (all airlines).
Conference Meals:
Full breakfast and break services will
be provided for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Group lunches and
dinners will be provided on Wednesday and Thursday. Transportation
will be provided between the meeting site, campus tour location,
and the group dinners as necessary. Box lunches will be provided
at the close of the CSG meeting on Friday.
