Meeting Logistics

Here is the logistical information for the Spring 2013 CSG Workshops and Meeting, to be held 15-17 May, 2013 at Brown University.

As usual, you will need to register separately for rooms at the conference hotel as well as for the meeting, and to make your own travel arrangements as explained below.

Conference Hotel:

Hotel space is being held at the Providence Biltmore. You may make your hotel reservation by visiting our booking link or by calling the hotel directly at (401) 421-0700. The rooms are at a group rate of $119.00 + tax per night. When calling, please be sure to ask for the "Brown Senior IT Leaders/CSG Group" group rate. Self-parking is available at $26 per day. The cut-off date for hotel reservations is April 21.

Meeting Registration:

Please visit the URL given in the initial meeting notice to register for the meeting and make your entree selections for the group dinners.

Meeting Venue:

We will be meeting at the Alpert Medical School Building, 222 Richmond St. Please see our meeting web page at /meetings/1305/ for maps and directions.

Nearest Airports:

Providence is about 10 miles north of T. F. Green Airport in Warwick and about 50 miles south of Logan International Airport in Boston. Driving directions and ground transportation options are on our meeting web page as well as on the hotel website at

Conference Meals:

Continental breakfast and break services will be provided for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Group lunches and dinners will be provided on Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday's dinner at the Rí Rá Irish Pub is within walking distance of the Biltmore; transportation will be provided for Thursday's dinner at the Hope Club. Box lunches will be provided at the close of the CSG meeting on Friday.
